Dear Mark,

I hope you’re keeping up well after the accident. I’m just writing to let you know about our inter-university cricket match which we started playing fortnight ago.

I’m afraid because I’ve a bit of bad news for you. Although we made it to final, opposition team won the match. We were doing well, but there were some miss-field by some of our players. Moreover, due to uncertain climate changes team weren’t able to put strong target.

As you know, the weather in Gujarat is quite unpredictable, the forecast was pretty clear for the match day, but we got unexpected rain showers resulting causing delay in match. Additionally, due to delay the changes in target, over made it easier for the other team to chase the run quickly.

I know we could’ve done better, but all in all the gameplay was super fun. New players got chance to showcase their skills which was rewarding to watch.Furthermore, fellow teams praised our team spirit. One of the best part of this series was I received an award for Most-Valuable-Player.
