I hope you are doing well. Congratulations! You got your job. I have to deliver a good news and a bad news to you. Let me start with the bad one first. You might remember that, you lent me a book, to be sepcific Holly Jackson’s best selling novel, Good Girl’s Guide To Murder. After me requesting you to lent it to me for hours.
I have regret to tell you, that I lost the book. It was purely because of my carelessness. I sincerly aologise, as it was your favoritr book, and you warned me on that.
It happened last Saturday, I was at this coffee shop at the near the park, reading the book and enjoying my espresso. I was about to find out, if Andie Bell was alive or not, at the same moment I got an important work call, which I needed to answer urgently. In order to that I left the shop with my backpack, to the park nearby. The book was in my hand, while talking on the phone I put it somehwere as I needed to takeout my laptop. After I solved the query, it couldn’t find the book. I searched for thr book everywhere, but there was not positive sign. After searching for an hour or two, I decided to give up. I aplogise again for my negligience.
But, I promise you to buy a new one. To make it up to you, I am taking you to the book launch event of Holly Jackson’s new novel. The author herself is going to be there and she will read the book followed by the signing event. Take this as my aplogy gift for you.
