Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing this letter to inform you that I accidentally damaged the rayban glasses you lend me last week for the onam celebrations in my college.
To begin with, I sincerely apologize for mistake I committed, and deeply regret that it happened after I promised you that I will keep it safe. What really happened was, when I was in the college, one of my friends took it from my pockets. He was drunk, and while he was dancing, he dropped the glasses on the floor and someone stepped on it. The glasses are not completely damaged, however; one of the legs are broken.
Even though, it didn’t happen from my hand, I take the full responsibilty, and I ensure you that I will make up for it. As an apology, I will fix your broken sunglass, and buy you another one of the same model different colour.
I hope you will accept my apology. Looking forward for you reply
Warm regards
Albert
