Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the facilities and the service provided during the business conference we organised at the local centre.
Last week, our annual business conference was held at the local community centre. The conference, which aimed at bringing construction professionals together, was a success. However, we encountered several issues due to the staff’s poor attitude and the certain sections of the venue. Initially, our agreement included a full-course dinner for participants on the first day of the event. Unfortunately, no dinner was served the whole night. Despite our several attempts to resolve the problems, your staff failed to assist us. Only when we contacted a person in authority did they take action to help the issue; however, it was too late. Similarly, one of the rooms, where a panel was scheduled to take place, was converted into a storage area beforehand, making it impossible to carry out the event. We had to cancel the meeting, for which we had invited notable speakers.
In spite of these issues, I would request that you reconsider staff training practices and take measures to improve pre-planning phases for future events.
Thank you for your consideration. Please contact me should you have any further questions.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Noble
