Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the several issues we are facing with the current apartment that we are renting from your agency and wanted to request that you perform immediate repairs. We also wanted to request your help in finding another student to occupy the spare bedroom in our apartment.
I would like to begin by detailing the repairs required by the apartment. Firstly, the elevator in the apartment has stopped functioning since last week. As you are aware, our apartment is at the top floor of a ten-story building, and the very long stairs have made it very difficult for us to conduct our daily activities. Secondly, the heating controller in the living room has stopped working since the last two months and we are unable to lower the heat or turn the heat off. Although, this wasn’t a concern during the colder months, now in the warmer months, the living room is becoming unbearably hot. Thirdly, we would also like to point your attention to the broken window in room 2 that does not open. As summer is fast approaching, we would like to open the window to let the cool air in. Kindly perform these repairs as soon as possible as they are severely impacting our living conditions in your apartment.
Lastly, I would like to request your help in finding another student to rent out the spare bedroom in our apartment. As you know, my two roommates and I are paying rent for a four-bedroom apartment, and we would like a fourth roommate to divide our rent and lower our cost of living.
