In 2010 the total number of visitors was about 1 million, reaching 1.5 million in 2012, the datas rose of half milion every years until 2014. Instend of growing the visitors had two years of stability followed by a steady increase in 2017 where the visitors reached 4.5 milion.

However, the visitors that stayed on island and the one who stayed on cruise ships followed a different trend.
