Overall, China is the most populated country among this group in the times when before today by far. However, India seems will take the lead in the projection.

Firstly, in the mid of the 20th century, China’s population reach nearly a quarter of the whole world. This situations almost did not change after 52 years, China still the highest population with of the world. India followed up closely the leader for the years 1950 and 2002, and the percentages are 15 and 18, respectively. Besides them, USA and Japan’s populations are drastically lower than these two countries. They competed each other for third place, but USA is the third highest population among 4 countries with a small difference.

In contrast, according to projection in the year 2050, India will the most crowded country. when comparing these 4 countries. On the other hand, China’s population will decrease 5 percent and Japan will join reducing group with almost 4 percent. Nevertheless, USA’s population will remain constant in the year 2050.
