The illustration depicts three maps which show the changes of the resort town of PalmGrove, 450 kilometers from the nearest city between 1950 and 2000.
Overall, it is noticeable that air and road transportation have been improved instead of water transport and temporary accommodation also increased.
Firstly, there was a 2 lane road in 1950 which was north of the area above the northen beach and at the right side of eastern hoteles. Two extra lanes were added alongside the previous roads after 25 years. Moreover, an airport was constructed until 2000 at the eastern side of the region, after the 4 lane road. There were also three docks at the western side of the town, below a hotel as well as a dock among two beaches and although they were still there until 1975, they were vanished at the end of the period.
There were three hotels, in addition, at the initial time. One of them was at the north of western docks and other hotels were near the eastern dock. These buldings, however, expanded and at the first period and three extra hotels were built next to the left hotel and another hotel were added beside the southern beach. In the year of 2000, furthermore, the number of hotels rose and there were all over the north coastal side of the town until above the north beach and also below the south beach.
