The bar chart depicts the percentage of the number of people in four main country including: India, China, the USA and Japan for a period of 52 years, starting from 1950 and the predition for the upcoming years, 2050.
Overall, it is evident that whilst the population in China dominated the chart throughout the past time, India is predicted to be the highest in 2050. Futhermore, the number of people in Japan compared to the world always stays the lowest.
Analyzing the percentage of the total world population in China, the USA and Japan, they all witnessed the decrease trend over the given period. In 1950, China’s population remains the highest at about 23%, the USA and Japan stands in the third and fourth place respectively with the approximate ratio of 7% and 4%. All three countries have dropped slightly to only 20% in China, 5% in the USA and about 3% in Japan. Although the USA is estimated to remain unchanged in 2050, the two other countries are also broadcasted to continue falling martially to 15% and 1% in respect with China and Japan.
Conversly, the proportion of the global population in India underwent a minimum increase form 15% to nearly 18% between 1950 and 2002, it is still calculated to rise to 19% in the future.
