This table illustrates the figures of the students attending four secondary school types. In 2000, 2005 and 2009.
Overall, it is clear that both the Voluntary-controlled and community schools were the two most pupils received schools in comparison with the other two schools figure throughout the given period except at it end when the community school reached the highest amount of proportions of the pupils .
In 2000, the Voluntary-controlled school reached it higher number of students which was just above 50%. On the other hand, the proportion of students that went to the Grammar school was approximately a quarter. As for the numbers of the attended learner at Specialist and Community schools both pf them was12%.
In 2005, all of the figures for the students dropped except the Community school which had reached exactly 32%. In contrast, the Specialist schools had reached around half of the Grammar schools percentages.
In 2009, the community schools numbers of pupils arrived at nearly 60%. On the other hand, the Specialist schools, Grammar and Voluntary-controlled schools have landed at 10%,12% and 20% respectively.
