The table compare the proportions of students attending four types of secondary school between years 2000 and 2009 with figures shown for specialist schools, grammar schools, voluntary-controled schools and community schools.
In details, in 2000’s voluntary-controlled school were at the top when it came to attending pupils with 52% leaving others behind. Grammar schools were the socond best with 24% attending students. Specialist schools and community schools were at the botom with 12% attendig each. Over the years this trend was drasticaly changing. Pupils attending specialist schools steady decrease to 11% in 2005 and 10% in 2009. Grammar schools observed a major decrase in attendance to 19% in 2005 and 12% in 2009. A plum happend in voluntary-controlled school where attendance dropped to 38% in 2005 and 20% in 2009. Meanwhile community schools observed a major increase in 2005 to 32% and their peak of 58% in 2009.
Overall, the data highlihgt a clear prefernce in type od secondary schools between 2000 and 2009.
