The given line graph illustrates the number of commuters who use the Paris Metro station in a single day and at different times.

To begin with, according to the graph, only 100 people used the Paris metro station at 6’o o’clock in morning. Though, this number increases exponentially and reaches a peak of 400 at 8 am. After this, numbers drop steadily to 300 and 200 at 9 and 10 o’clock respectively. Then, between 11 am to 12 pm, the visitor’s number rose slightly and again reached 300, and they stayed steady for the following 3 hours.

Moreover, in the late afternoon, the travellers’ count reduces and drops to its lowest point of 80 people at 4 pm. The evening brings a huge increment in travellers, from 5 pm to 6 pm the number of visitors increases to almost 400 again. Whereas, the passengers reduce significantly after 6 pm and numbers fluctuate till 22 o’clock.

Overall, morning and evening time show a surge in passengers, while in the afternoon the number has been steady for three hours and drops to its lowest at 16 o’clock.
