The given pictorial diagram illustrates the procedure of producing bricks for construction industries. This whole process is carried out in seven different stages.
Overall, the brick-making process is complex and complete after passing through seven different operations, from digging clay to delivering the finished product.
To commence with, Clay, a raw material of brick comes from mining sites by digging with the help of a digger. The second stage is filtration and the addition of sand and water, here the material passes through the metal grid, which segregates unwanted stones from fine clay and forms a slurry by mixing with water and sand.
The following stage is a moulding process, where the shaping of bricks is executed in two ways, first by a wire cutter and another by mould blocks. Moreover, these bricks move to the drying oven for 24 – 48 hours to reduce the moisture contained in them. After this stage, these bricks are heated in a kiln at moderate heat (200-980 ºC) and high heat (870-1300 ºC) and cooled down for 48-72 hours. Lastly, this finished product is packed and delivered to construction sites.
