Overall, house prices increased in the majority of the aforementioned cities during the period between 1996 and 2002, with only exception in Tokyo, but especially London which figure soared dramatically to more than 10% with a difference more than 15% comparing to the period from 1990 and 1995.

Despite the equal figures with nearly 7% below in Tokyo and London between 1990 and 1995 in the next period it completely changed. When Tokyo’s figure had a marginal increase, which still was lower than the average house prices in 1989, London’s percentage had noteworthy growth.
