In 2008, men spent significantly more time in watching tv, videos, and listening to the radio with 137 minutes per day on average followed reading books and exercising for 18 and 15 minutes per day simultaneously. On the other hand, women spent comparartively less time on exercising, watching tv and videos, and radio for an average of 11 and 137 minures per day simultaneously. Women spent more time on reading book as compared to men. Although, it was just a minute difference.
The graph for household activities indicates that women spent more than half of their time on cooking and washing than men. Similary, women spent aproximately 30 mintes per day on average washing clothes and ironing whereas men only spent of of the women’s average time. Moreover, women took more than 30 minutes per day for shopping than men. Although, the time spent on repairing was more for men with less than 20 minutes per day than women.
