The presented line graph provides the comparison between wheat export over three different areas. Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that Canada was occupying the first place until 1989, however the European community exported the most ammount of wheat in 1989 and in 1990. In contrast, Australia occupied the last place during the given period, exept the 1986 year when the European community substituted it.
It is evident, the figuries of Canada’s export had experienced a minor decrease in 1986 (from approximately 19 million tonnes to roughly 17 million tonnes), before significant increase in the period between 1986 and 1988. The figuries reached its peak in 1988 and accounted for 25 million tonnes. Subsequently, the export in Canada witnessed a sharp decline to about 14 million tonnes. After that, it grew to approximately 19 million tones.
It can be observed, that the export of the European Community dropped in the period between 1985 and 1986 to about 2 million tones. Nevertheless, the figuries of export saw a minor rise and overtook the figuries of Australia in 1987. After the period of the remaining steady, the datas witnessed a steady rise and overtook the datas of Canada in the year 1989. The datas peaked more than 20 million tones in 1990.
As for the export of Australia, it had had a minor increase in the first year, before a gradual reduction in the period between 1986 and 1989, from about 16 million tonnes to roughly 11 million tonnes respectively. In the subsequent year the figuries remained steady.
