The given pie chart below illustrates the ages of individuals that visited a public library in Little Chalfont in 2016. Another bar chart and table graph given us the information about number of loans between 2007 and 2016 and category of books that were taken.
Overall, it is clear that near the half of the total ages that attend library is adults, while the smallest proportion is children. Additionally children’s and adult fiction types has the highest percentage in the category of loan books and at the beginning number of loans was smaller than in the end.
Regard to the first chart, number of young adults and adults 65 and over was equally about 15, while children showed 22 members . However, adults in 18-64 ages illustrated the highest proportion of figures who visited the library in 2016.
In 2007, number of loans consisted above 15,000. This number of loans continued to rise and in 2011 was more than 20,000 figures. However, in 2013 it decrased to under the 20,000 and in 2016 it increased again to nearly 22,000. Among loans children’s and adult fiction books was popular with 38%. Additionally, children’s non-fiction which consisted 6% was less popular than adult non-fiction with 13%. Furthemore, adult audio books and young adults types was only 2% and children’s DVD was the smallest with 1%.
