At first, we need to remark a moderate fluctation in the cases of Lenovo, Dell, Acer and Asus. These brands all dropped as a result of 2017 and overtook in the next year. For example, let us carefully review case of Acer. At the end of 2016 it had a total share of 8,3%, but by the end of 2017 lost 0,3%, hit the bottom of 8%. But then its share returned to its intermediate value of 8,2%.
Despite some plateau trends in the previously mentioned cases, there are several manufacturers increased their market share. For example, this metric of the company of Apple drammatically rose from 8,3% to 10,4% over whole the period, that helped to the Silicon valley resident, now located in Cupertino, to achieve 4th place in the whole rating. Meanwhile most of the mentioned suppliers show either netural or positive direction of moving the line, other companies sharply shown downward trend despite a tiny rise in the overall demand during the period. As a result, rating rating had undergone some minor changes – Apple improved its positions, building strong ground for the future grow.
