The bar chart and table above illustrates information about market share of top notebook brands that dominated over the period of 2016-2017 and along with 2018.
Overall, it is clear that HP and Lenovo was the highest in the bar chsart while, Acer and Apple showed a different pattern in the table. Also, similar pattern can be seen in Dell’s products comparing with HP and Lenovo.
According to the bar chart, HP had the most popular products all around the world over the periods with 22,4;24,3 and 24,4% and leaded in each year. Lenovo shared a similar results with HP and tooked stable secound place from 2016 to 2018 even though ts market forecast ptojected to decline in the coming year. Dell’s market share accounted for 15,4 in 2016 and slightly desreased to 0,2% next year but increased again to 0,4% and stayed at the 3rd place over years.
Asus, Apple, and Acer each of them forms approximately 10% of market propotion. In the beginning of the period Asus leaded among them but significantly dropped to 5th place in 2017 and stayed there even it’s had an increase in 2018. Apple which started their journey in 5th place with 8.3% increased to 9.5% and to 10,4% the next year, and tooked confidently 4th place. Acer interestingly had an almost steady share progress of 8%.
