The diagram illustrates how a bamboo fabric is produced, using bamboo as raw material.
Overall, the process is a nine-step manufacturing procedure, commencing with the bamboo being cultivated in Spring and culminating in the production of finished clothing.
At the first stage of the process, bamboo plants are planted in Spring. After being left to grow until Autumn, the bamboo attains its optimal maturity for harvesting. The next stage begins when each bamboo stem undergoes a mechanical process in which it is cut into strips before being crushed to produce a liquid pulp.
Subsequently, the liquid is filtered to extract long fibers from the mixture. After the fibers are softened by supplementing a combination of water and amine oxide, they are then dried and twisted into yarn. Once the previous stage has been completed, the yarn derived from bamboo is woven into fabric and ultimately tailored into final products as garments.
