The data depicts the information about the distributions of number of pupils enrolled in different Secoundary School types from 2000 and 2009.
The data clearly shows that among the four secondary school types, only community schools has a huge increase of precentage of pupils attendees, while the other three schools obviously recorded a decrease.
In the beginning of the year 2004, Voluntary-controlled Schools recorded the highest percentage of pupils with 52%. Followed by the Grammar Schools with 24%, and tied on the third spot with the percentage of 12%, are Specialist Schools and Community Schools. Turning to year 2005, three of the Secoundary School Types has experienced a decrease in their total percentage of pupils, Specialist Schools has declined by 1%, Grammar Schools’percentage has plunged from 24% to 19%, and Voluntary Schools has drastically fall from 52% to 38%. The recorded decline of the three schools mentioned has continued up to the year 2009 wherein Specialist Schools’ data was 10%, Grammar Schools has 12%, and Voluntary Controlled Schools was down to 20%. On the other hand, Community Schools greatly increased to 32% in the year 2005, and continued to rise in the year 2009 with a total percentage of 58%.
