Tightly following China, India was the second populated country on the graph, with the percentage of population increased from 15% to 17%. The world population proportion of the United States of America, with 7% in 1950, decreased by 2% after 52 years. Japan, being the least populated nation on the bar chart, had its proportion of the world population declining from 4% to 3%.
In the future of 2050, India is likely to replace China as the most populated country in the world, it is predicted to further increase its population percentage to 18%, while China is estimate to drop to 15%. USA is projected to reamain its population proportion in 2050, but that of Japan is predicted to decline to approximate 1%.
