Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the building site that is located close to where I live. The construction is of a new shopping centre on the Highway in North Sydney, which began about three months ago. So far, the old buildings have been demolished and the new buildings are currently in the middle phase of construction.

The noise created by this building site is immense, and often continues all day, from 7am until 6pm. I am working from home at the moment, and I have been finding it extremely difficult to concentrate with the sound of drilling and machinery audible in every room.

I understand that this new shopping centre is important, but I would like to request that the hours of construction are reduced. If building works took place only after 3pm on weekdays, this would significantly improve the situation for me, and for others living nearby.

I appreciate your assistance in this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you with a satisfactory solution to this issue.
