Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writting this letter to you to share my recent experience with the ongoing construction near my house, how the noise pollution caused by this is affecting me and a few ways how this can be taken under control. The building work was started last month near Finch and Avenue Road, However at the begining there was not a lot of disturbance. But with time, the workers have started to break the old infrastructure followed by using of heavy machinery a lot of noise was caused.
I am a student of medical school and I have my final exams starting in couple of weeks. The distraction caused by renovations next door is making it hard for me to concentrate. The work happening is very overwhelming not just for me but also for my neighbours. There are several people who work from home and other elderly people who are getting disturbed.
I have a few suggestions that might be considered to balance both parties’ need. Firstly, the workers can start their shift early afternoon, by this time most of the individuals are either done with their work or heading for an outing. Second, the business can add tools like silencers to the machines that can reduce the volume. There might be other ways to handle this situation as well, having an suggestion box by the site can also be considered.
Yours Sincerely,
Honey
