Dear Ali,

I’m writing to let you know about an unexpected event that prevents me from visiting you at the time we schedualed.

My mother arranged a small family gathering and invited all relatives in order to celebrate our family tradition, which forces me to stay at home, and help my family. As a result, I cannot come to England at the date.

I’m really sorry for this situation, and I hope you consider how this event is important for me. As it provides unique opportunities for me to develop a better understanding of my family’s customs, strenghten my family bonds, and spend quality time with my relatives.

I was wondering if we could arrange another time to visit each other. What is your oppinion about the next month, July 26? At that time, there is a music festival, which enables us to enjoy live music while allowing us to spend quality time with together. As I know, you really keen on music.
