The bar chart displays leisure activities; Watching TV, Reading, Exercising Leisure Activities, Socializing, and Gaming, conducted by several age groups in average weekly hours during the year 2020.
Watching TV, Reading and Gaming were indoor activities and showed different patterns of five age groups, from 10-19 to 60+. At the start, people with 10-19 years old had the lowest average weekly hours spent on Watching TV and Reading by 10 hours and 5 hours. Meanwhile, the older groups had a much time spent and increased exponentially, peaked at the group of 60+ years of age by 25 hours and 15 hours. In contrast, Gaming had the opposite trend where younger groups spent more time than older groups. Started with 12 hours by 10-19 age groups, went down with the most significant decrease at 4 hours difference from 20-29 to 30-39 age groups, and finally stopped at 2 hours by 60+ years old people.
On the other hand, Exercising Leisure Activities and Socializing as outdoor activities showed more fluctuating trends with different likable activities. Younger people by three age groups liked Exercising Leisure Activities with the most time spent of 7 hours by people aged 30-39 years old, while older ones spent less time and dropped to 3 hours by the oldest. Differently, Socializing liked the most by people in their 20-29 with 8 hours, although this number decreased during age growth of people and ended with 2 hours by 60+ years old people.
In conclusion, the data showed a wide range of differences upon Leisure Activities preferences, where the oldest people most liked Watching TV but not Gaming, while the youngest one preferred Gaming the most and avoided Exercising Leisure Activities the most.
