By contrast, the proportion for developing countries adopting a global approach to business rose rapidly from 1.5% to nearly 5% over the three decades.
In addition, the figure for developing countries adopting a non-global approach to business did not remain stable. From the 1960s to the 1970s, this figure increased slightly by nearly 1% before falling to 0.8% in the 1980s. Over the next decade, it rose again to around 1.5%.
