The chart provides information about total number of growth in gross domestic products in wealthy countries, globalisers, and non-globalisers between 1960 and 1990.
Overall, wealthy countries for over 30 years showed a significant decrease, while globalisers showed a significant rise from 1960 to 1990. However, non-globalisers experienced both sides, an increased between 1960 and 1970 and began to decline from 1980 to 1990.
In 1960, wealthy countries had the highest average at less than 5 percent, followed by non-globalisers which had above 2 percent, and globalisers with only less than 2 percent. However in 1970, all these countries had significantly increase except wealthy countries. Wealthy countries declined to less than 3 percent average.
In 1980, GDP’s growth for globalisers was the highest in the year, represented above 3 percent of average, wealthy countries in second place, and non-globalisers, indicating the lowest average for GDP’s growth. In addition, in 1990, globalisers rapid growth and reached its peak at less than 5 percent. Meanwhile wealthy countries and non-globalisers continued to decrease from 1980.
