The flowchart above illustrates the process of ethanol production from corn. Overall, it is apparent that the said vegetable went through a long process consisting of milling, boiling, fermenting, and separating.
First and foremost, large amount of corns are stored which once they are enough, the said vegetable will under go a process of miling to grind the corns into bits, leaving only the small fruits or as we like to call them, kernels. Once the milling process is done, the kernels are then boiled for approximately four hours and fermented for 48 hours.
After fermenting, the fruits are then filtered with the assistance of a machine, the said fermented corn bits are then separated into two, the liquid, and the solid excess. The production of ethanol utilizes the liquid product from the separation. After extracting the liquid, it then under go a purifying step for five whole hours before finally collecting the purified corn ethanol and distributing it.
