Overall, the chart showcased a linear increase in the number of vehicles per thousand people over a span of twelve years in China. The bar chart depicted the lowest and highest values in the first and last years. In the year 1987, very few people owned vehicles that was around 450 contributing to the lowest value. The figure gradually rose to just above 500 in the upcoming years. Followed by two values below 1000 in 1991 and then equivalent to 1000 in the next years. In 1995, the number of vehicles per thousand people increased to 2000. Next, the figure again surged to around 3000. Finally, the ownership of vehicles peaked in the year 1999 indicating a value more than 4000.
In conclusion, the demand for vehicles enormously increased as the years passed by contributing to a greater amount of consumers owning vehicles in China.
