The bar chart gives information about the number of vehicle owned by per thousand capita in China from 1987 to 1999.

Overall, the number of vehicle ownership witnessed a dramatic increase, reached a peak at the end of the period, while at the beginning of the period was responsible for a far smaller percentage.

With regard to the number of vehicle ownership , it began at around 300 vehicles in 1987. It then experienced steady increase reached a peak of 4100 vehicles in 1999. Until 1992, the pattern of vehicle ownership remained 900 vehicles, without exceeding 1000 vehicles.

In 1995, the figure for vehicles ownership stood at 1900 vehicles. It climbed at a rate of 1000 vehicle in each subsequent period until 1999. However, despite this growth figures vehicle ownership combined did not exceed 4500 vehicles.
