The two pie charts give information about different leisure activities taken by adults in Europe in 1985 and 1995.
Overall, the data indicates that watching TV was the most prevalent entertainment in both years, while chatting with family and eating out became less popular within the dacade.
It is clear from the first pie chart that in1985, among all the recreations, watching TV represented the largest percentage(32%), following with eating out and talking with friends, constituded 23% and 21%, respectively, off all activities. The percentage of adults who chatting with family in their free time only made up 18%, while other activities that are not mentioned merely represented 6%.
The second pie chart shows that in 1995, watching TV still remained the highest proportion of all activities. Interestingly, there was a new entertainment that couldn’t be seen in 1985, which was playing online games, constituded the second largest proportion(27%). The figure for having a talk with friends increased from 21% to 27% within a decade, whereas the percentage of eating out and talking with family declined significantly in 1995.
