The bar graph compares number of male and female graduates from different colleges under the Higher College of Technology, across UAE. The pupils are categorized based on their gender and the college they received degree from.
Overall, women graduates have outnumbered men graduates in all the colleges, and there are significant differences in the size of the colleges in terms of their total students who are awarded honours.
Roughly, 2500 students achieved their degree from HCT colleges and among them over 1400 were women. Dubai college awarded the degrees to maximum number of students, which constituted of 426 men and 547 women. The second most number of passing students are from the institute in Abu Dhabi, where male students were 273 and females were 20 more than the former.
On the other hand, in Al Ain state, 218 women graduated with a degree as compared to only 138 men. Subsequently, the other two regions of Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah showed the lowest rate of people holding a degree, ranging between 250 to 350 and more than 60% of them were females.
