Dear Tim,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere apologies for not being on time for the important meeting that was scheduled for yesterday.

The main cause of this inconvenience was the cancellation of my flight, which was set to depart by 9:00 AM yesterday. Unfortunately, due to harsh weather conditions it was delayed for 2 hours. As the climate conditions were continuously getting worse and not suitable for flying an aircraft, I was informed that my flight was cancelled, and there were no other options available at that time to arrive in Calgary.

I totally understand how hard it is to manage some spare time to arrange a meetup. In order to compensate for the time wasted, I will refine my proposals with better research, and we can reschedule a meeting for upcoming Friday at 3 pm. Please let me know if it works for you; in case any change is required, I am fully flexible.
