Dear Sir,

I am writing down this letter to bring to your kind attention that I would like to take a couple of days off, since my daughter got a bacterial infection in her throat that is known by ” tonsillitis”, and unfortunately having high fever since then.

The doctor has prescribed for her antibiotics, and he suggested if I could stay home with her at least for two consecutive days, to get her temperature monitored.

So, if you accept my leave I will just be away from office on Monday and Tuesday, and will return back to work on Wednesday morning.

I can be on call on those days, in case any of the team needed anything from my side.

Additionally, I will try to compensate up for the lost time in the coming week, and work on Friday afternoon and Saturday full day.
