Dear sir,

I am Kesha Shah, employed in a financial department at Scotiabank as a business analyst. I am writing this letter to request you allow me to pursue a course from University of Ottawa.

Last week, while browsing the internet, I saw an advertisement of a course named “Smart talk”. This course is offered only in summer, and it is a part-time course. Being a business analyst, I need to possess good communication skill and this course will help me improving it. Moreover, it will help in enhancing my presentation and creativity skill. Additionally, this course is effective not only cost wise but also time wise. At the end of the course, I will also receive a certificate which will be a valuable addition for our firm.

It would be great if the organization either allow me to do part-time work or grant me a leave of absence for three months to succeed in completing this course. In addition, my job includes collaborating with stakeholders. Hence, after completing this course, I can do it very efficiently.
