Dear Ms. Doe,

I am the mother of one of your students, namely John, and I would like to volunteer to take part in the upcoming field trip. Joining the trip would allow me to be able to spend more quality time with my child and meet his friends. I also believe I would be able to assist in guarding and caring for the students.

I have a few suggestions in mind. One is to allot budget for the children’s snacks and drinks. We must check each child for certain allergies so we will be able to purchase appropriate snacks for each. Checking the weather forecast for that day is also a must. So that, one day before the trip, we can advise the children to wear the appropriate attire for the forecasted weather.

With that, could you please provide me with more detailed information about the places to be visited and how they were picked? Also, as a parent participant, do I need to pay a fee for taking part in the trip?
