Dear Mason,
I hope you are doing well. I cannot express enough how happy I am that you are finally coming to meet me after 5 years. I remember you telling me that you will be taking the train. I apologize that I will not be able to pick you up from the station but this city is very easy to navigate so you will have no problem coming to my house if you follow these directions. The easiest way is to take a taxi to my house but it is not always cost effective. However, you can also take the bus from the station which will drop you off on Robson Street and from there you will have to walk straight and take the first right where you will see a Red House which is my house.
The best thing about this city is the various events that takes place during weekends. We can go to the cherry blossom festival that is starting this weekend, there is also a bar down the street from the festival where they always invite talented jazz artists and I know you have recently developed a liking to jazz music so we can go there and have some drinks while listening to the music.
The spring season is starting so it is not very cold here but I do recommend that you bring some warm clothes as the weather can fluctuate from time to time.
I hope this letter finds you well and I cannot wait to see you. I hope you have a safe trip.
Regards,
Shivali
