Dear Sir or Madam,
I write in reference to your recent advertisement to offer awards to people who have helped the community. I am from Maba town, and I would like to nominate Mr. Doe as the recipient of this honour.
Mr. Doe is a retired nurse who has dedicated his life to volunteering to care for those who couldn’t otherwise afford medical help. He sought and sourced for free medical supplies and partnered with NGO’s to give people free treatments. After his retirement, he would do periodic checks on the old people in my society, sensitising them on health-related issues.
Through his efforts, a free medical centre was established and offers people a wide range of help. Furthermore, he has been a great advocate for a clean and healthy environment, therefore, more boreholes were built, drainages were dug, and a place to incinerate refuse was created. The mortality rate has since increased by more than 20%.
I will suggest that Mr Doe be awarded a “Service to Humanity Excellence Award.” This will encapsulate all his acts of service to humanity and his show of empathy towards others. It will encourage him and those around him to keep doing good work.
I would appreciate it if it were given much consideration, Should you require more information about this, please let me know. Thank you for your time, I look forward to your response.
Yours Faithfully,
Agnes Roo
