Dear Mr. Ben,

I read your dissatisfaction in the letter about the noise that comes from my home. I am writing to explain my situation for you to understand. My brother and his family decided to live with me and they informed me two weeks ago. As you know, my house is small and it’s not enough for another family. Hence, I planned to add another room above my house. Unfortunately, building another room will take two weeks more.

I would like to apologize for this inconvenience. I feel embarrassed by this noise. But this is a temporary situation, and I am asking you to forgive me and be patient with me.

From tomorrow, I will inform the laborers to start the work after you go to your job, and they will stop working when you come home. In addition, I will ask the company to send more workers to finish building the room as soon as they can.
