It is often suggested that it is vital to choose a job with higher wages than satisfaction. However, I strongly disagree with the statement because choosing a job that provides happiness is more important than receiving a high payment, as it helps to keep a stable mind and makes people interested in the job.
The mind’s ability is far more important than the work itself. Firstly, people who are involved in activities that they are not very keen on will be overwhelmed, which will affect their mood. Secondly, overwhelmed work does not bring any fulfillment, and that leads to a high level of stress and tension. For example, it is shown that a number of employees have recently been under severe mental conditions and wanted to quit working. Thus, despite the high salary, finding a job that provides happiness and fulfillment is important.
Furthermore, interest in work and production are very closely related. A lack of interest only leads to unproductivity, but with enjoyment, one will work more time and bring better results than others who do not. A good example of this are scientists, who, because of their likeness towards their work, invented various interesting inventions, such as the current. That is how many people engage wholeheartedly without minding the less payment as the work is interesting.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that job satisfaction is more important than salary, and it should be brought to the sense that work is more important than salary, as then only it will be stress-free work and make it more enjoyable and productive.
