I live in the best place in Kazakhstan – Almaty city. I have lived in Almaty since I was born. This is the city where I spent my whole childhood, and it is filled with wonderful memories. It is a place where I grew up, hung out with friends, and created unforgettable moments. However, when I think about my education and the fact that one day I might need to leave my city, I feel sad and depressed.
Sometimes, I imagine what it would be like to live in the countryside. My thoughts about this started after visiting a village. For me, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences, which made me consider the idea of living outside the city.
Life in the countryside is always associated with fresh air, organic food, peace, and being close to nature. In the countryside, you don’t feel like you are surviving; instead, you feel like a part of nature. You realize that you are nature! However, there are some disadvantages too. For example, you might feel disconnected from the rest of the world. It’s hard to stay updated on news or political events, and sometimes you feel isolated.
On the other hand, life in the city also has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the biggest disadvantages is the constant hustle and bustle. You are always busy with work, school, or other activities, and it feels like you’ve lost your connection with nature. People are always rushing somewhere, and there’s very little time to slow down. However, the advantages of living in a city like Almaty are numerous. There are many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and markets within walking distance. Public transport is well-organized, and you can easily get around the city.
In conclusion, life in both the city and the countryside has its pros and cons. Personally, I prefer living in the city because I’ve spent my entire life in Almaty. Despite its disadvantages, Almaty is my home, and it holds a special place in my heart.
