I mostly agree with this statement that companies should make product which lasts for many years because natural resource is limited. If products are durable people don’t need to purchase new ones often. This can help reduce the use of raw materials like wood, metal, and oil.
However, it is not always possible for all products to last many years. For example, technology changes quickly, and people often want the newest devices. Also, some items like clothes or shoes get worn out after regular use. In these situations,it is essential to recycle or reuse materials rather than only focus on making them last longer.
Furthermore, long lasting products can save money.Even if these items are more expensive ,they don’t need to replaced often. In the long term, this is more cost-effective. It also encourages people to buy fewer things, which is good for both the environment and society
Instead of solely focusing on product durability, other strategies can also contribute to resource conservation.Governments can implement policies that encourage recycling and the use of renewable materials. For example, imposing taxes on products that deplete natural resources can enhance companies to adopt more sustainable practices.Additionally, promoting consumer awareness about the environmental impact of their choices can lead to more responsible consumption patterns.
In conclusion, I believe that most companies should try to make products that can be used within many years because this protects the environment and saves money.
