Single parents should supported by the government as well because of impossibility to leave their children alone. Generally, due to the fact of underpopulation in developed coutries, supporting people with children with benefits it is a good measure to increase the birth level.

For example, it can consern working people that their taxes can be spent on people who just don’t want to work. For example, in Russia people divorced fictitiously to get payments like single parent.
