More and more qualified employees such as teachers and doctors are migrating to developed parts of the world to work with better opportunities and leaving their poor countries. In this essay, I will examine the causes of this trend and shed some light on the impact of the migration of professionals as well as the people surrounding them.
The primary factors that bring about the moving of a growing number of high-certified workers are that in undeveloped areas there are poor facilities and lack of opportunities. As poor countries do not have enough finance to provide appropriate facilities to their workers they are discouraged from working and might feel demotivation towards their work. Working in an office with no equipment will make more tasks and might be waste of time. In addition to this, in these types of countries, there is significantly less amount of opportunities than in rich ones. Thus, workers cannot build their career path and achieve their aims related to their jobs ( such as promotion) or even have the ability to provide high standard of living to their families.
The major consequences resulting from migration of skilled workers out of the country are shortage of qualified workers and an effect on others by those who have already left their city. If a huge number of employees move to another place for better life standards, in their home country there will not be enough workers. It could critically affect education, medicine, and other fields and students might not get appropriate information. As a result, others also will crave to live in better conditions and will attempt to migrate to superior places with provided opportunities.
To sum up, the main reason for a growing number of professionals moving to rich countries is not having enough facilities and opportunities, which will cause to lack of professionals and more migrants.
