I want to start with the advantages. If I’m not mistaken, not all professions require students to do a certain period of unpaid work. I know that some professions are really serious work. Employees who hire other employees first test the person for several months or weeks. After trust, a person is hired if he passes all the tests. Employees can practice their skills in a few minutes.
In addition to the advantages, there are also disadvantages to working without a salary. Not every student or ordinary person is ready to work in such conditions, because in many families only one person works, and without money he will not be able to feed the family, or an ordinary student who studies on a contract must pay for the contract. So this could be a problem for many.
In the end, my conclusion is this: people should work if this area is really interesting and they need it. Then they must be prepared for these tests, like working for several months without a salary
