As we approach a world increasingly driven by academic pressure and career-oriented education, the question of whether art education should be treated as a core subject has gained traction. While some argue that students should focus on examinable subjects and art subjects are unnecessary and, I believe that removing art from compulsory education would be a mistake.
From an optimistic perspective, the arts can serve as a powerful catalyst for fostering personal relaxation and enjoyment. As soon as people start chasing creative activities namely painting or playing music, they are more likely to calm their nerves, recharge their batteries and restore their spirits, thereby relieving feelings of stress and anxiety. As a result, they experience a sense of comfort and satisfaction, which ultimately promotes greater psychological stability and overall emotional well-being. In a world where numerous individuals struggle with academic challenges and financial constraints, artistic pastimes have a potential to serve as a vital source of calmness and rejuvenation.
From an academic perspective, the arts play a crucial role in student’s academic performance. When students participate in artistic lessons, they can boost their critical thinking, visual learning, problem solving and decision making skills, which all of them offers high academic executions. Therefore, they can reach their academic goals despite setbacks, thereby enhancing overall quality of live and education. At the time when the number of crime activities is increasing, it is essential for people to acquire better knowledge, not to just go to school.
In conclusion, although learning some core subjects helps to become qualified person, attending art classes has both academic and emotional benefits to provide better future for students.
