The air craft industry was a revolutionary invention that connected people around the world with in a matter of hours. While, aviation industry demand is significantly increase due to the tourism industry, there are several environmental issues emerged. In this essay, I intend to explore issues caused this by phenomena and offer some effective solutions as well.
Aviation industry, which engaging the passengers transport, has involved to cause environment pollution, especially on surrounding atmosphere. Nowadays, tourism industry has significantly grown, and visitors travel thousands of miles from their location to another destination in all around the world. Furthermore, there is ample evidence suggest that those air travels are responsible for more than two third of emission of air pollution factors, called as greenhouse gas, and those are directly contributed to course environmental issues such as climate changes and global warming. To mitigate this problem, airline companies should upgrade with electrical aircraft, and tourism agencies might introduce different travelling modes for their customers. For instance, those agencies can promote budget friendly train or voyage tour packages.
The second problem, of the fast moving aviation industry cause, is air pollution, and generally environmentalists are also not raised their voice on this matter. However, these jet noise has huge impact on, not only people’s day to day life, but also for bird’s habitat as well. For example, recent research found that these noises have ability to increasing anxiety and disturbance level in both the human and birds, especially those who living in the neighbourhood of an airport. In order to prevent these circumstances, limitation of unnecessary air travels could be suggested. For example, world famous conferences, which are held by in person, could be organized by using modern conference tools such as zoom or MS team.
In conclusion, although there are several environmental problems affiliated due to having great demanding of air craft such as air and noise pollution, several mitigating actions can be taken to alleviate these problems including introducing the electric aircraft and organizing conference via modern internet tools.
