The internet has spread worldwide, reaching almost every single household in the world. As a result, paper-based information spreading has become rarely used and old-fashioned. I completely agree with this statement, as it is true that nowadays, people around the world prefer to simply interact electronically because it is more convenient and faster.
One of the main reasons newspapers are becoming outdated is the instant accessibility of current breaking news with further detail. Moreover, it has become easier to update people across the world without even having to travel all the way there or write a letter and wait months for it to reach them.
Despite the fact that using electronics is more efficient, some still argue that newspapers still have a place in society, specifically for older generations, who may not be comfortable with using devices. They believe that information online is mostly fake and untrustworthy, and the reason is that it is unlikely to come from authentic sources.
In conclusion, while newspapers may still exist for a niche audience, it is strongly believed that they will not last long due to the rise of people’s digital usage. The convenience and efficiency of online news make it a preferred choice for the majority of people, making the use of newspapers face a decline.
