Band 6+: Behaviour in schools is getting worse. Explain the cause of this problem and suggest some possible solutions.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There is no doubt that misbehavior of students at school has become an alarming concern for families and the education system. Consequently, there are numerous negative effects that will arise as follows. In this essay, I will present major causes and impacts of the issue of bad behavior of teenagers at school as well as propose a wide range of possible solutions to address this problem.

One of the main reasons for poor behaviour in schools is the lack of strict rules and discipline. Many schools focus only on academic results and do not pay enough attention to teaching students how to behave properly. For example, when students are not punished for bad behaviour, they may continue to act disrespectfully. Another cause is the lack of involvement from parents. Nowadays, many parents are busy with work and do not spend enough time teaching their children good values. As a result, children may not learn how to respect others or follow rules. Finally, society also plays a role in this problem. Young people are often influenced by social media and video games, which sometimes show violence or bad behaviour. This can make students think that such behaviour is normal, leading to more problems in schools.

To solve this issue, schools, families, and society need to work together. First, schools should have clear rules and consequences for bad behaviour. For example, students who break the rules should be given warnings or required to do community service. Schools should also teach students about respect and teamwork through special programs or activities. Second, parents need to be more involved in their children’s education. They should spend more time talking to their children about good behaviour and setting a positive example at home. Finally, society should take responsibility for the content that young people see online. Governments and tech companies should work together to reduce violence in video games and social media, and promote positive messages instead.

In conclusion, misbehavior of students at school is a burning issue, greatly causing serious consequences for themselves like dealing with severe problem of mental health. This phenomenon can be mainly rooted in the poor parenting in terms of the family aspect. As can be seen, such approachable actions as setting up healthy environment for children must be taken urgently by the parents; otherwise, their misbehavior at school may later grow worse and worse.
